Finally I managed to do this. Here are the parts of a blog for your easy reference. I hope this information will be useful. I may need to put more definitions and details. Please request, if you need more :)
Blog | Also known as weblog, is a website that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer. It is where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies. Postings on a blog are usually in chronological order. |
Header | Just like the name, header is the head of a blog. It's located on the top most part. Normally it consists of the blog title and images. |
Background | Background lies behind the blog content in the foreground. It fills the rest of the area behind the layout. |
Menubar | is a row of links which normally lead to main pages of the blog. Often a menubar is a text based which is placed under the header. In Blog Design, it's a trend to have a graphic menubar combined into the header. |
Mainbar | This is where the blog posts are located. |
Sidebar | This is where accessories or widgets of a blog are placed. |
Grab Button | is like one of the marketing gadgets which readers can grab and place on their own blogs. This button will lead back to your blog. |
Share Text Box | is a code in a box. This is the code for the grab button to work. It will serve its purpose, bring more people to your blog. |
Watermark | This is something to define ownership. It is put on your pictures to prevent other people from stealing them and posing as you and/or using them and claiming them as their own. |
Post Divider | This is between the blog posts. It can be in a form of custom graphic or personalized signature. |
Footer | is the bottom part of a blog which normally lists navigation and copyright statements. |
