Blog Design Definitions

Finally I managed to do this. Here are the parts of a blog for your easy reference. I hope this information will be useful. I may need to put more definitions and details. Please request, if you need more :)

Blog Also known as weblog, is a website that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer. It is where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies. Postings on a blog are usually in chronological order.
Header Just like the name, header is the head of a blog. It's located on the top most part. Normally it consists of the blog title and images.
Background Background lies behind the blog content in the foreground. It fills the rest of the area behind the layout.
Menubar is a row of links which normally lead to main pages of the blog. Often a menubar is a text based which is placed under the header. In Blog Design, it's a trend to have a graphic menubar combined into the header.
Mainbar This is where the blog posts are located.
Sidebar This is where accessories or widgets of a blog are placed.
Grab Buttonis like one of the marketing gadgets which readers can grab and place on their own blogs. This button will lead back to your blog.
Share Text Boxis a code in a box. This is the code for the grab button to work. It will serve its purpose, bring more people to your blog.
WatermarkThis is something to define ownership. It is put on your pictures to prevent other people from stealing them and posing as you and/or using them and claiming them as their own.
Post DividerThis is between the blog posts. It can be in a form of custom graphic or personalized signature.
Footeris the bottom part of a blog which normally lists navigation and copyright statements.
